Code of Conduct:
Upon acceptance to Northeast Thunderstruck Water Polo all members will be expected to adhere to the team's complete "Code of Conduct." When conduct is in doubt by anyone associated with Northeast Thunderstruck, it will be the discretion of the coaching staff to administer appropriate disciplinary action, and may lead to dismissal.

Actions not covered by the team's complete "Code of Conduct", that are deemed detrimental to Northeast Thunderstruck will be dealt with accordingly. Please take note:

  1. Any player that is known to use alcohol, tobacco or drugs is subject to suspension from the team.
  2. Players are never to interfere with the progress of another teammate during practice or otherwise.
  3. At all club functions, practices, games, or team gatherings, we expect each player to behave in such a way that their actions reflect positively upon the team.
  4. All members of the club, whether parents or players will continue to protect and improve the excellent reputation of the club.
  5. Any infraction of these rules may constitute cause for dismissing a player from practice, team function or game at the family's expense.
  6. Players are required to wear proper team attire at all games and tournaments.

Players are expected to exhibit appropriate team behavior both at the pool and elsewhere during all games.

Team Dues:

  1. Session Dues must be paid in full prior to the first practice of each season, failure to do so will result in exclusion.
  2. All required insurance, parental consent, and general club information forms must be submitted prior to the first practice of each session, failure to do so will result in exclusion.

Practice/Game Information:

  1. Athletes should arrive no earlier than 15 minutes prior to a practice, and should not remain at a practice location for more than 15 minutes after that practice has been completed. Parents, not coaches, are responsible for their children before and after practices/games.
  2. All communications to coaches must be made before or after practice, never during.
  3. For insurance purposes only athletes and coaches will be permitted on the pool deck during practices.

Equipment:

  1. Each athlete will be required to wear the appropriate team uniform to each tournament. To purchase team shirts, please contact coach Gately.
  2. Each athlete must bring multiple towels, goggles, and water bottles to each game/practice.

What to Expect at Home Games:

Parents/Athletes are expected to volunteer during the times in which our club hosts home games since the success of this program rests entirely on the effort of the coaches, athletes, and parents working together.

Cancellation/Refund Policy:

  1. Due to the nature of this program, session payments are not refundable for any reason.
  2. Unfortunate circumstances may result in a practice/game/tournament being cancelled from time to time.
  3. Practice/Game cancellations will not result in session payment refunds.
